Join the Somatic Massage Therapy & Spa Team Somatic Massage Therapy & Spa is seeking a warm, dependable and highly organized Guest Relations & Front Desk Associate to join our established wellness team in Floral Park, NY. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys helping people, communicates professionally and understands the importance of creating an excellent client experience from the first phone call through checkout. Position Responsibilities Welcome clients warmly and create a professional, relaxing first impression Answer incoming phone calls, text messages and general client inquiries Schedule, confirm, reschedule and manage appointments accurately Assist clients with service selection, memberships, gift cards, rewards and booking questions Check clients in and out and process payments correctly Maintain accurate client profiles, appointment notes and contact information Communicate schedule changes and important updates to therapists and staff Help manage therapist schedules and support smooth daily spa operations Explain spa policies clearly and professionally Assist with retail product recommendations and basic front-desk sales Maintain the cleanliness and presentation of the reception and waiting areas Protect client privacy and handle confidential information appropriately Follow all established front-desk, safety and customer-service procedures Help resolve routine client concerns calmly and professionally Support a welcoming, organized and team-focused workplace Qualifications Strong customer-service and communication skills Friendly, professional and confident speaking with clients Reliable, punctual and highly organized Comfortable answering phones, responding to text messages and managing multiple tasks Strong attention to detail and accuracy Comfortable using computers, scheduling software and point-of-sale systems Able to work independently and as part of a team Experience in a spa, salon, wellness, hospitality, medical office or customer-service environment is a plus Familiarity with Mindbody or similar booking software is a plus Evening and Saturday availability is strongly preferred About Somatic Somatic Massage Therapy & Spa is an established massage therapy, skincare and wellness practice serving Floral Park, Queens and Nassau County for more than 15 years.
