Job Summary:
The Ultrasonographer Echo (Echocardiography Technician) position is located in Santa Fe, New Mexico. This role involves performing diagnostic echocardiograms on adult and pediatric patients, supporting cardiologists with precise imaging and documentation. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of work.

Job Details:

• Location: Santa Fe, New Mexico
• Schedule: Days, 7:00 AM 5:30 PM, 40 hours per week (4 days, 10 hours each)
• Required Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent; a two-year allied health education program related to patient care; A.R.D.M.S./CCI registration or registry eligible or comparable national accreditation; State of New Mexico Echo Sonographer License; BLS certification issued through the American Heart Association.
• Specialty: Ultrasonographer Echo
• Experience: Two years of actively performing echocardiograms preferred; 0 years minimum required.
• Additional Information: This position serves as a backfill replacement for Kori Calhoun and is a contractor replacement position. The application involves responsibilities such as performing technically proficient 2D, M-mode, and Doppler cardiac exams, coordinating with hospital departments, assisting cardiologists, maintaining equipment quality, and participating in performance improvement activities. Candidates should demonstrate effective communication, strong organizational skills, ability to work under stress, manual dexterity, and collaborative teamwork.
