Job Responsibilities

• Develop Unique Treatment Plans: Assess patients' needs and create tailored therapy strategies that guide them in reaching their personal functional milestones
• Implement Effective Interventions: Apply evidence-based methodologies to enhance patients' motor functions, cognitive abilities, and activities of daily living
• Collaborate with Multidisciplinary Teams: Engage in close partnerships with other healthcare professionals including OTs, PTs, STs, doctors, and nurses to deliver holistic, inclusive care
• Guide Patients and Families: Provide education to patients and caregivers on therapeutic practices to support continuous progress beyond the therapy setting
• Document Progress and Adapt Treatment: Keep track of clinical outcomes and modify treatment plans as necessary to ensure that patients remain on their path to recovery

Qualifications

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited college or university
• Encouragement and support for ongoing education or advanced certifications

Certifications

• Valid Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) credentials
• NBCOT certification is a must
