Travel Emergency Room Registered Nurse

This is a 13-week contract position.

Nights, 5:00 PM to 5:00 AM.

The Registered Nurse holds shift accountability for providing care to Emergency Room patients by utilizing the Nursing Process in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act and Hospital policy and procedures. The registered nurse demonstrates critical thinking skills, scientific judgment, and leadership in the anticipation and planning for the safe delivery of care for patients in the Emergency Department. This role requires maintaining clinical competencies through continuing education and delegating patient care priorities based on the education and experience of the available staff.

Responsible for the delivery of patient care through assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation.

Direct and coordinate all nursing care based on established clinical nursing practices.

Collaborate with other professional disciplines to ensure effective patient care delivery and achievement of desired outcomes.

2+ years of experience as an Emergency Room Registered Nurse.

A minimum of 2 previous travel assignments completed successfully.

Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, and ESI Level 5 training.

TNCC certification is preferred.

Cerner experience is preferred.
