Benefits Processing Clerk

LaSalle Network has partnered with a client, who is seeking a Benefits Processing Clerk  to join their growing team in Oak Brook, IL. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with claims processing experience who enjoys detailed, behind-the-scenes work in a collaborative office environment. You'll receive hands-on training while supporting a newly established team and have the opportunity to expand your skills as the department continues to grow.

• Compensation: $23–$25/hour (depending on experience)

• Location: 100% Onsite – Oak Brook, IL

• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–4:30 PM (35-hour workweek)

Responsibilities

• Support Benefits Examiners by processing benefit claims and related documentation

• Process refunds and ensure all required documentation is complete and accurate.

• Verify beneficiary information, address changes, banking details, and other member records.

• Review confidential documents for accuracy, completeness, and compliance.

• Enter, update, and maintain information across multiple internal systems.

• Follow established procedures while maintaining detailed and accurate records.

• Collaborate with a growing team to support daily department operations.

Qualifications

• Previous claims processing experience (benefits, medical, or auto insurance required).

• Strong data entry and computer skills with exceptional attention to detail.

• Comfortable navigating multiple systems and learning new technology.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook and Teams.

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to follow established processes.

• Adaptable, dependable, and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment.
