Hospitalist Nurse Practitioner

Locums - NP/PA Hospitalist one hour to Charlotte
Nocturnist role Ongoing Need While Recruiting

Key Details:

Coverage Dates:

Early November 2026 start and ongoing need

Schedule:

7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
Highly prefer ability to work 7 on 7 off

Responsibilities:

Admit new patients; no cross coverage or rounding duties
Average of 5-7 admissions per shift
Physician consultation available virtually
Respond to codes
Central lines and intubations required; average of 1-2 per week
Respiratory Therapy and ED backup possible

Facility Details:

Setting: 130+ bed hospital
Part of strong health system with academic affiliations
Not a Trauma facility
EMR: Epic

Requirements:

Board Certification: Required (NP or PA)
Active North Carolina License: Required
Certifications: ACLS & BLS Required
Experience: Prior hospitalist required
