Parts Counter Consultant

The primary purpose of the Parts Counter Consultant is to quote and sell automotive parts to customers for Main Shop sales. Parts Counter Consultants are responsible for processing orders and ensuring timely delivery of parts to internal departments, such as PDQ (Oil & Lube) or the Main Shop.

Schedule/Pay

• Pay range is $18-$22/hour based on experience
• Schedule is 9am-6pm Monday-Friday and every 3rd Saturday from 8am-2pm

Responsibilities

• Quote, sell and process Service department automotive parts
• Answer phones in a courteous and professional manner
• Maintain current product knowledge in accordance with company standards
• Establish and maintain positive relationships with customers
• Coordinate parts ordering and delivery process
• Notify Service Advisor when parts are available
• Learn to overcome objections and thrive in sales situations
• Bring your 'A game' & positive attitude with you every day

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a parts counter person, parts advisor, or in an automotive parts retail environment preferred
• Ability to collaborate, interpret and communicate information that is not always straightforward
• Must have an outgoing personality
• Professional, well-groomed personal appearance.
