The Medical Assistant/Front Office role supports both clinical and administrative functions within a healthcare setting. This position involves managing patient interactions, coordinating appointments, handling medical records. The role requires working both independently and as part of clinical and administrative teams, utilizing general office software to ensure smooth daily operations.

Schedule: We would like this employee to start with Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays from 8:00am to 4:30pm with a 30-minute lunch each day.

Responsibilities

• Manage patient scheduling and appointment coordination
• Perform front desk management and patient check-in/check-out
• Handle medical records and maintain accurate documentation
• Verify patient insurance and assist with billing processes
• Provide answering phones and assist with data entry
• Referrals
• Clerical Duties

Preferred Qualifications

• Entry-level experience in medical assisting
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
• Proficiency in data entry and general office software
