CT Technologist

The role involves performing high-quality diagnostic CT imaging procedures according to physician orders, ensuring accuracy, safety, and patient comfort. Responsibilities include positioning patients, operating imaging equipment, setting exposure factors, and optimizing images for diagnosis. Additionally, the technologist manages documentation, verifies patient identity, labels images correctly, and ensures compliance with department policies. They provide safe patient care by adhering to radiation safety standards, practicing universal precautions, and monitoring patient status. Professional conduct such as effective communication, appearance, punctuality, and ongoing education is essential. Qualifications include current ARRT registration in Radiology or Nuclear Medicine CT certification within six months state licensure in Radiography or Nuclear Medicine BLS certification at least one year of CT experience preferred Skills required involve proficiency with electronic systems and excellent technical knowledge.
