Degree in Physical Therapy, active Physical Therapist license and 1+ year of Physical Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This part-time contract position calls for an itinerant Physical Therapist dedicated to making a positive impact on young lives. Enjoy an engaging caseload of approximately 20-23 students, collaborating across schools and grades each week for 25-30 hours. This role is ideal for professionals who thrive in dynamic environments and value building connections with students and educational teams.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy required
- Active California Physical Therapist license in good standing
- Previous experience with pediatric or school-based physical therapy strongly preferred
- Comfortable traveling between schools and adapting to varied settings
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and time-management skills
- Passion for empowering students with diverse needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality physical therapy services to K-12 students district-wide
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate with educators, families, and interdisciplinary teams to support students’ academic and functional success
- Document services and progress in compliance with district protocols and legal requirements
- Provide input for IEP meetings and assist in shaping accommodations and modifications
- Help foster an inclusive, accessible environment for students with physical challenges
