Agricultural Conservation Mapping Technician

To support the Water Quality Division, the part-time temporary Agricultural Conservation Mapping Technician will track and account for agricultural field conservation practices, review records for accuracy, and map data in a geospatial database while working both onsite and remotely between 20 and 30 hours per week. Key responsibilities File and track agricultural field practice implementation records submitted by farmers and partners Review records for completeness and accuracy, reaching out for further information as needed Map field practice implementation data in the Partner Database and compile information for reports and outreach materials Required qualifications High School diploma or equivalent AND one year of office clerical experience OR completion of a vocational/technical training program in business, office administration, or a related area OR one year of full-time college-level study in accounting, business, or public administration OR one year of experience as an Administrative Services Technician I with the State of Vermont Experience working with the VISION system may be required for some positions
