In this role, you’ll operate flatbed trucks delivering mostly construction materials for Home Depot. This is an exciting opportunity to showcase your driving skills, manage load & unload operations, and be a vital part of our logistics network that keeps goods moving efficiently.DutiesSafely operate flatbed trucks across assigned routes, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulationsLoad and unload freight using appropriate equipment such as MoffettSecure cargo properly on flatbeds to prevent shifting or damage during transitConduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with DOT standardsPlan efficient routes to optimize delivery times while maintaining safety standardsCommunicate effectively with customers to coordinate pickups and deliveries, handle route adjustments, and report issues promptlyQualificationsValid CDL A license with a clean driving record and minimum 2 years of experience operating tractor-trailersProven truck driving experience, especially with flatbed loadsAbility to load & unload freight safelyKnowledge of DOT regulations, safety procedures, and proper securing techniques for various cargo typesExcellent communication skills for coordinating with dispatchers, customers, and team membersPhysical ability to handle loading/unloading tasks and perform inspections as requiredEmbark on a rewarding career where your driving expertise makes a real impact!
