Our team ensures quality, cost, and schedule goals are met by investigating, communicating, and resolving design, producibility, and assembly challenges.What You Will Be DoingAs the Manufacturing Engineer Associate Manager, you will lead Make/Buy studies, spearhead cross‑functional projects, and tailor solutions to each customer’s variant requirements. You will also oversee non‑recurring engineering efforts during product start‑up, including affordability and producibility assessments, tooling and fixture design, machine‑automation programming, and the configuration of manufacturing bills of materials for optimal manufacturability.Your responsibilities will includeLeading a team of Manufacturing Engineers to investigate and resolve design, producibility, and assembly challenges.Conducting Make/Buy analyses and driving cross‑functional projects that meet variant‑specific requirements.Managing non‑recurring engineering (NRE) activities during product start‑up, including cost‑reduction and producibility assessments.Designing tooling, fixtures, and automation programs to support new product introductions.Configuring manufacturing bills of materials (BOMs) for optimal manufacturability.Utilizing Manufacturing Readiness Assessment (MRA) tools to evaluate process readiness, develop corrective plans, and ensure successful product launches.Basic QualificationsB.S. in relative Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Aerospace, Materials, Manufacturing, Industrial, etc)Extensive technical knowledge and experience in the areas of missile manufacturing, process development, and testingExperience with manufacturing tooling design and fabricationHands on experience in the design of manufacturing processes, work Instructions, equipment installation, assembly and material handlingLeading recurring and non-recurring Manufacturing Engineering activities and personnel to meet technical schedule and cost commitmentsDrive internal initiatives such as Process Improvements, Lean, and ManufacturingTechnology enhancements and by improving the business processes used to execute Recurring and Non-recurring supportStrong ability in written and verbal technical communication skills.
