Exciting Opportunity for Pediatric Respiratory Therapist!

Job Description:


- Join a dynamic team providing care in Pediatric Respiratory Therapy.
- Shift: Day 3x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:30).
- Weekend Coverage: Every other weekend required.
- Float to various units as needed, ensuring flexibility and adaptability.


Patient Care Focus:


- Work with a variety of patient age groups, particularly in PEDs floors, PICU, ER, and NICU.
- Engage in critical moments, providing compassionate care and expertise.

Qualifications:


- Minimum of 1 year of experience in Pediatric Critical Care or ER settings.
- Required Certifications:
- BLS
- NRP
- PALS
- RRT for SC license
- Experience with medication systems: Pyxis and Omnicell.
- Familiarity with EPIC documentation system is essential.

Skills Required:


- Proficient in Pediatric Emergency Procedures:
- Aerosol set up (mask and trach)
- Emergency treatment (e.g., Albuterol, Atrovent, Mucomyst)
- High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC)
- Pediatric Critical Care protocols and equipment.

Work Environment:


- Collaborative interdisciplinary support with Respiratory Services.
- Opportunities to develop skills in various pediatric diagnoses and special procedures.
