Temporary-To-Hire Evs Worker – Hospital (Inglewood, Ca)

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking environmental services (evs) worker to join our hospital team in inglewood. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity for individuals who take pride in maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary healthcare environment for patients, visitors, and staff.

schedule: monday–friday, 7:00 am–3:30 pm pay rate: $25.70/hour

what you will do

• empty, clean, and damp-wipe all waste receptacles as well as remove waste paper and rubbish from the premises to designated areas.
• vacuum all rugs and carpeted areas, sweep or dust-mop hard floor surfaces, and damp-mop or clean spills as needed in offices, lobbies, corridors, stairwells, and public areas.
• hand dust and wipe clean all office furniture, file cabinets, fixtures, paneling, windowsills, air-conditioning diffusers, wall grilles, and all other horizontal surfaces.
• remove all finger marks and smudges from vertical surfaces, including doors, doorframes, light switches, private entrance glass, and partitions.
• keep janitor's closet clean, neat, and in orderly condition.
• other jobs and duties as identified or assigned as needed.

what it takes to be successful

• 1+ years of custodial experience a plus
• prior experience cleaning in healthcare facilities preferred
• must be fluent in english language
