Job Summary
Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory Registered Nurse (RN) position located in Springfield, Illinois. This role involves providing specialized care in a Level I trauma center, performing diagnostic and interventional procedures such as adult left heart catheterizations, pulmonary artery line/Swan Ganz monitoring, and right heart catheterizations. The position offers an excellent opportunity to work within a high-volume, acute care hospital environment with a patient census of approximately 25 daily.

Job Details

• Schedule: 3x12 Days shift (6:30 AM - 7:00 PM), minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Minimum 1 year of experience, ACLS and BLS certifications, Illinois active license in hand, proficiency with Cerner charting system, interventional and diagnostic cardiac catheterization experience (including adult left heart catheterizations, pulmonary artery line/Swan Ganz monitoring, right heart catheterization), procedural sedation administration/monitoring, interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, and strong clinical skills in a cardiac cath lab setting.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in a Level I trauma center, familiarity with rapid response teams, and previous hospital-based catheterization laboratory work.
• Additional Information: Willingness to float within scope if needed, working 2-3 weekends per contract, and availability for holiday coverage (working 2 of the 3 major holidays). Established RTO restrictions of no more than 5 days preferred. The assignment begins on 07/27/2026, with orientation requiring completion of modules prior to start.
• Submission Requirements: Active Illinois license, completion of pre-boarding compliance (lab appointment, DocuSign documents, badge photo), and submission of interview availability. Candidate must be pre-closed at the time of submission, with references pending if applicable.
