Company: SMS Staffing Location: North Chicago, IL Job Type: Temp-to-Hire Pay: $17.00 – $19.00/hour Shift: 1st Shift | Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM – 6:00 PM About the Role SMS Staffing is seeking reliable and detail-oriented Distribution Coordinators to support daily warehouse and distribution operations. This role is essential in ensuring accurate documentation, inventory tracking, and smooth order processing. Key Responsibilities Print, organize, and process inbound paperwork (purchase orders, transfers, etc.) Handle outbound documentation (sales orders, transfer orders, BOLs, packing lists) Investigate and resolve order release issues Perform inventory adjustments and location movement transactions Scan, file, and maintain electronic and paper records Update inventory statuses as needed Run and firm planned transfer orders Monitor emails and complete or delegate requests in a timely manner Requirements High school diploma or equivalent Ability to read, write, and comprehend English Basic math and computer skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) Must be able to work around chemicals and follow safety guidelines Steel-toe shoes required Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to maintain a clean and safe work environment Follow company policies on attendance and performance #J-18808-Ljbffr
