Shift Information: Rotating - 10 hours
Contract Duration: 4 Months

About the Position

• Experience Required: At least 1.5 years of recent Med Surg experience required- 2 years preferred.
• First time travelers are accepted
  Every other weekend required.
• Floating Required: Must be willing to float within specialty and between campuses (4.5 miles away).
• Skills Required: Cardiac Monitoring, gastrointestinal experience, renal failure, IV, heparin/insulin/PCA, ortho experience, CVA, spinal cord and traumatic brain injury experience required, respiratory experience required
  Must pass cardiac exam during orientation.
• EMR experience required though Meditech Expanse training is covered during orientation.
• Perm staff must have been termed for 12 months and must be greater then 85 miles from the facility.
• Nursys: No hits are allowed, if there is a hit of ANY kind it is an automatic redirect
• Unit is primarily Ortho/post-surgical and trauma; a select part of the unit is dedicated to oncology patients. Chemotherapy is sometimes administered by trained nurses who are certified.
• Must be willing to float within specialty and between campuses (4.5 miles away)
