Job Description
TITLE
Surgical Technologist - Surgical Services

SCHEDULE
Shift: 8 hours, Day
Days: Monday - Thursday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM (may stay later if cases run longer)

ASSIGNMENT DETAILS
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Guaranteed Hours: 72 hours biweekly

REQUIREMENTS
- Massachusetts License
- BLS (AHA) Certification
- Strong experience in orthopedic and cataract surgeries
- EPIC experience
- Ability to scrub DaVinci Robotics cases
- Spine experience is a plus

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepare surgical instruments and sterile fields
- Assist surgeons and healthcare team during procedures
- Maintain a clean and safe operating environment
- Ensure all surgical equipment is functional and available
- Monitor and manage supplies and instruments during procedures
- Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures

COMPLIANCE / NOTES
- Flu vaccine required prior to start; personal and religious exemptions not accepted
- Call response time: 30 minutes
- Local candidates accepted with a $10 rate decrease
- Previous travel experience preferred
