HVAC Service Technician

HVAC Service TechnicianEmployee will perform the following job duties. Other duties, responsibilities, and activities may change or be assigned at any time with or without notice.Diagnose, troubleshoot, and evaluate HVAC systems to identify customer needs and system deficienciesPerform service, maintenance, and minor repairs in accordance with company standardsPresent clear, accurate, and professional solutions to customers, including repair and replacement optionsAccurately document all service activities, estimates, and customer interactions in company systemsMeet or exceed established performance metrics, including revenue targets, close rates, and average ticket valueRequirementsPLEASE NOTE: All applicants must be an insurable driver, meaning minimal to no motor vehicle violations within the last 3–5 years. Applicants must possess a current, valid driver's license from Washington. An exception may be made for candidates holding an out-of-state license, provided they agree to obtain the correct state license within 30 days of their offer acceptance date. Additionally, applicants must be at least 25 years of age and have a minimum of 2 years of driving experienceQualifications & Personal Attributes:Minimum of 2+ years of HVAC service or installation experience preferredDemonstrated ability or willingness to develop strong sales skills in a service environmentValid driver's license with a clean driving recordAbility to pass background check and any required pre-employment screenings in accordance with applicable lawsClear verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical information clearly to customersAbility to work in a fast-paced, performance-driven environmentBasic computer proficiency, including mobile applications, CRM systems, and dispatch softwareAbility to accurately document service calls, estimates, and customer interactionsWillingness to work flexible hours, including evenings or weekends as neededStrong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically in the fieldProfessional appearance and demeanorSelf-motivated with accountability for individual performance metricsCommitment to ongoing training and professional development
