Job Summary:
\n \nUnder the supervision of the Unit Director, the RN performs patient care functions as approved by the State of Maine Board of Nursing and St. Joseph Hospital policies and procedures. The Clinical Leader/Charge Nurse will provide direct supervision for the shift the RN is assigned.
\n \nJOB REQUIREMENTS

Education: ASN Required, BSN preferred
\n - \n
License(s): Current Maine RN license or compact license
\n - \n
Certifications (s): BLS current or within 30 days of hire; ACLS current or within 90 days of hire; PALS current or within 1 year of hire
\n - \n
Experience: 1 -3 years preferred
\n - \n
ICU experience preferred but cardiopulmonary/step -down/telemetry experience will be considered with goal to cross-train to ICU within on year
\n
Other Skills Required: Must be a team player, have strong communication skills as well the ability to multi-task
