Job Summary:
Labor and Delivery (L&D) Registered Nurse position is available in ISSAQUAH, Washington. This role involves providing specialized maternity care in a dynamic facility setting. The nurse will deliver high-quality obstetric services, supporting labor and preterm delivery patients with a focus on safety and collaboration.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 48 hours per week.
  • Required Qualifications: Certifications including Basic Life Support (BLS), Fetal Heart Monitoring (FHM), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), Association of Womens Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses (AWHONN) Intermediate certification, and Epic experience required. Two years of experience in labor and delivery or equivalent setting, with active compact license for Swedish facilities, preferred.
  • Preferred Qualifications: ACLS certification is preferred.
  • Float: float rotation may be required, including support for Post-Partum and Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) based on skill set.
  • Additional Information: The role involves attending all deliveries, including high-risk cases, GYN surgeries, and overseeing low-risk antepartum care. Responsibilities include blood and blood product administration, cardioversion, cooling/warming blanket procedures, epidural and PCA pumps, wound vac management, and administering medications such as Heparin, Insulin, and Magnesium Sulfate. The nurse will support various obstetric units, including labor, antepartum, postpartum, and transition nursery, with a patient ratio of 1:1-3 as needed.
