Job Function Reads job specifications to determine machine adjustments and material requirements. Follows order filling procedure. Measures work piece dimensions to determine accuracy of machine operation. Completes filling out work order and production sheets with all necessary information (lot number, tag number, P.O., packaging information.) Uses chop saw to fill orders. Performs preventative maintenance such as sweeping, cleaning nail guns. Reports irregularities to supervisor for direction. Maintains work area in a clean, safe, and orderly condition. Wears hard hat, safety shoes, safety glasses, chin strap as needed. Receives, places/returns items into stock inventory locations. As assigned by management Required Skills 0-5 years of relevant experience or any equivalent combination of education and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities required. Must possess a Valid Drivers License. Warehousing and material handling experience preferred. certification to operate all required motorized material handling and rigging equipment preferred but not required Ability to speak and read in English and comprehend documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization. Operate forklift, overhead crane, climb up and down ladders, and other equipment also to use tools necessary to perform the job, such as banders, nail guns or saws. Basic measurement skills, including taking, converting, and/or using measurements of length, width, height, and weight to perform basic math computations correctly required. Ability to read a tape measure, caliper and micrometer. Interpret instructions in written, oral, diagram or schedule Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional variance. Must adhere to all safety rules. Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively required. Ability to make sound decisions based on a combination of factors including knowledge, experience, and judgment required. Ability to develop and maintain good working relationships with supervisors and co-workers required. Compensation Range The anticipated compensation for this position is USD $23.00/Hr. - USD $25.00/Hr. depending on experience, qualifications, and location. EEO Statement Reliance, Inc.
