Facilities Maintenance Technician

Pay: $22.00/hour

Job Summary

Openwork, formerly Meador Staffing, is hiring a dependable and skilled Facilities Maintenance Technician to support the daily operations and general upkeep of a commercial building. If you have hands-on maintenance experience, strong technical skills, and take pride in keeping a facility operating safely and efficiently, we want to hear from you.

Responsibilities

Perform general building maintenance, repairs, and upkeep.
Replace light fixtures and perform basic electrical maintenance.
Assist with plumbing repairs and routine maintenance.
Support BAS/HVAC systems, including chillers and cooling towers.
Assist with elevator coordination and monitoring.
Perform preventative maintenance on building systems and equipment.
Respond to maintenance requests and address issues as needed.
Help maintain a safe, clean, and properly functioning facility.

Qualifications

Previous facilities, property maintenance, or commercial building maintenance experience preferred.
Working knowledge of building operations and maintenance systems.
Ability to perform preventative and routine maintenance tasks.
Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general building systems.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Dependable attendance and punctuality.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently.

MondayFriday | 8:00 AM5:00 PM

Temp-to-Hire Details

This is a temp-to-hire opportunity based on work performance and attendance . Candidates must complete a minimum of 520 hours through Openwork to be eligible for permanent hire with the client.
