Job Summary:
This outpatient Occupational Therapist (OT) position is located in Pendleton, Oregon. The role focuses on orthopedic patient care, primarily involving upper extremity therapy such as shoulder repairs, wrist and elbow tendinitis, and fractures. Candidates are required to bring their Oregon license on the first day. The position involves working four days per week, Monday through Thursday, with a shift duration of 10 hours per day.

• Required Qualifications: Oregon license required; BLS certification; minimum of 2 years of experience in orthopedic therapy, specifically dealing with upper extremity treatments such as shoulder repairs, wrist and elbow tendinitis, and fractures; experience with outpatient orthopedic care; proficiency with Meditech electronic medical record system
• Preferred Qualifications: Lymphedema training is a plus
• Additional Information: Thirty-six of the patient treatments involve orthopedic conditions like CVA, MS, and head injuries, with orthopedic care being a primary focus 80-100%. Experience in hands, elbows, and shoulders is essential. The position may require coverage of acute inpatient, acute rehab, transitional care, and outpatient settings.
• Notes: The hospital can cancel up to four shifts within a 13-week assignment, or three shifts for assignments shorter than 13 weeks.
