Electrical Controls Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Controls Engineer to support manufacturing operations through controls engineering, testing, automation, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement.

Location: Waukesha, WI

Relocation Assistance: Available

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, validate, install, and troubleshoot production/test equipment and controls.
Program and troubleshoot PLC/HMI systems and electrical controls.
Develop testing protocols, equipment specifications, and SQL/production system interfaces.
Perform root-cause and failure analysis.
Support capital equipment selection and cost-out initiatives.
Drive Lean/Six Sigma continuous improvement projects.
Collaborate with Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality, suppliers, and customers.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from an accredited institution.
4+ years of Controls/Test Engineering experience.
Experience with Rockwell Software, RSLogix, Studio 5000, and FactoryTalk View ME/SE.
Strong PLC/HMI programming and troubleshooting experience.
Understanding of safety systems design.
Ability to modify PLC programs.
Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without current or future employer sponsorship.
Must live within 50 miles of Waukesha, WI or be willing to relocate.
