Learning Facilitator

Job TitleThis role supports the development of skilled craft talent by providing hands-on instruction, classroom training, mentorship and skills assessments across multiple construction trades and workforce development programs. Partners closely with operations, apprenticeship & journeyman programs, workforce development teams, safety and field leadership to ensure training aligns with company standards, industry best practices and project workforce needs. The ideal candidate is an experienced craft professional with strong technical expertise, leadership skills, communication abilities, and a passion for developing the next generation of skilled trades professionals.Key ResponsibilitiesDeliver classroom, hands-on, and field-based instruction for construction craft and skilled trades training programsTrain apprentices, pre-apprentices, journeymen and other craft employees on technical skills, safety standards, tools, equipment, and construction processesConduct craft skills assessments, evaluations, and practical demonstrationsSupport apprenticeship, journeyman and workforce development programs through structured trainingBuild strong relationships with craft professionals and field leaders to promote a culture of continuous learning and developmentEvaluate craft skill progression and provide feedback to employees and field leadership, maintain training records, attendance documentation, certifications and assessment resultsAssist with development of trade-specific career pathways and upskilling programsParticipate in curriculum improvements and initiativesStay current on industry trends, codes, technologies, safety standards, and best practices within assigned tradesEducationBachelor's degree in construction management or a related field, or equivalent experience required.ExperienceJourneyman-level experience or equivalent field experience in a skilled construction trade required5+ years of construction craft or skilled trades experience preferredPrior teaching, mentoring, foreman, superintendent, apprenticeship instruction or workforce development experience preferredExperience with apprenticeship & journeyman programs, NCCER and workforce development training preferredCertifications:NCCER Instructor Certification or equivalent instructional certification highly preferredOSHA 30 Certification PreferredExperience supporting union and non-union workforce environmentsCPR/First Aid Certification PreferredBilingual English/SpanishCompensationIn compliance with local law, we are disclosing the compensation, or a range thereof, for roles in locations where legally required. Actual salaries will vary based on several factors, including but not limited to external market data, internal equity, location, skill set, experience, and/or performance. Salary is just one component of DPR's total compensation package.Arizona, North Carolina, Florida, Tennessee, Richmond range: $78,000 to $97,000. Sacramento, San Diego, TX, Colorado, New Jersey, Philadelphia range: $85,800 to $106,700. Seattle, Boston, DC, Pasadena range: $93,600 to $116,400.
