Job Summary Our industry-leading client is hiring a Sr CAD Technician - Curtain Wall for a permanent, full-time opportunity in Elk Grove Village, IL. Requirements AutoCAD proficient Ability to read architectural and structural plans Revit and Inventor familiarity a plus Basic skills in Word and Excel Familiarity with standard drafting practices 2+ years of experience in the production of construction documents Previous experience in the architectural aluminum industry is a plus. Team player with excellent communication and follow through skills Candidate expected to reside in the Chicago Metropolitan area Job Description Produce shop drawings including floor plans, elevations, and details Interpret & coordinate structural calculations with shop drawings Produce fabrication drawings Create and maintain BIM Models Create and maintain product literature Other duties may be assigned Benefits 401(k) 401(k) matching Dental insurance Health insurance Life insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Schedule 8 hour shift Monday to Friday Skills AutoCAD, Inventor, Revit.
