Join us—and be part of something that matters. The CAD Technician I role will focus on utilizing 2D AutoCAD software for creating detailed store layout prints. This position requires a keen eye for detail and a strong foundation in technical drawing principles. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all drawings, adhering to project specifications, and collaborating with other team members to meet company objectives.

Primary Responsibilities

• Create and modify store layout drawings using 2D AutoCAD.
• Collaborate with the design team to understand and meet project requirements.
• Ensure all drawings and designs meet industry and company standards.
• Assist in the development and maintenance of CAD libraries and drawing templates.
• Work closely with other departments to provide necessary drawings and support.
• Maintain documentation and archives of all drawings and revisions.
• Contribute to process improvement initiatives within the CAD Services department.
• Stay updated with new CAD technology trends and software updates.
• Perform all other duties and responsibilities as directed by the supervisor.

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in drawing and design.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Basic understanding of store layout principles and design.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in 2D AutoCAD software.
• Associate's degree in CAD, Drafting, Engineering Technology, or a related field.
• Relevant experience in CAD drafting may be considered in lieu of formal education.

Additional Comments

• This position is based in Jefferson City, MO.
• Standard business hours for this role are Monday – Friday, 8AM to 4:30PM (CT).

$21 - $25 per hour depending on experience
