Parts Counter Salesperson

Join our team as a Parts Counter Salesperson, where you'll play a key role in delivering exceptional customer service while supporting our parts department. This position is responsible for selling, receiving, and stocking parts and accessories, assisting service technicians with parts needs, maintaining inventory accuracy, and ensuring the parts department remains organized and efficient.

What You'll Do:

• Assist customers in identifying and purchasing parts and accessories to meet their needs.
• Provide timely parts support to service technicians.
• Receive, verify, stock, and organize incoming inventory.
• Help maintain attractive merchandise displays and a clean, organized parts department.
• Monitor inventory shortages, communicate issues, and expedite resolutions.
• Maintain departmental tools, equipment, and vehicles in good working condition.
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support departmental success.

What You'll Bring:

• High school diploma or equivalent experience.
• Basic computer and data entry skills.
• Working knowledge of parts and machinery; experience with the John Deere Parts Catalog is preferred.
• Strong customer service and teamwork skills.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds.
• Valid driver's license with a good driving record.
• Must maintain a good driving record in compliance with company Motor Vehicle Records criteria throughout employment.
• Must pass a DOT physical and renew certification annually as a condition of continued employment.
• Flexibility to work varying schedules as needed.

Pay Information:

The hourly pay range for this position is $18 to $25. This reflects a reasonable estimate of the targeted base hourly wage for this role. Based on factor such as geographic location and candidate qualifications, actual base pay is determined when an employment offer is made.

In Season Hours: Monday-Friday 7am-5pm, Saturday 7am-12pm OR 7am-3pm (rotation determined by store)
Off Season/Winter Hours: Monday-Friday 7am-5pm
*In Season Hours may be extended (including Sundays) during peak seasons (planting, harvest, or any other peak selling season) to meet the needs of the store. Extended Hours are determined by the needs store and subject to change. *
*Off Season Hours are from November-March. Start and end date to winter hours is dependent on year and subject to change. *
