Licensed Physical Therapist

Title Licensed Physical Therapist Employment Type Full Time Work Hours Monday through Friday Location Davenport, Iowa Position Responsibilities In this position, you will evaluate new patients, develop plans of care, and set measurable, functional goals. You will treat patients, address their concerns, and provide education on injuries, conditions, and progress toward desired outcomes. You will monitor patient responses to treatment and intervention, modifying as necessary, to meet their needs and achieve goals in accordance with treatment plans and physician orders. You will consult directly with treating physicians and cultivate effective relationships with referral providers. You will document patient evaluations, re‑evaluations, daily progress reports, treatments, and discharges of services in a timely and accurate manner, recording billable services. You will provide physical therapy services in accordance with PT guidelines for professional practice and ORA clinical policies and standards. Requirements This position requires a Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy and a current, unencumbered, active license to practice as a Physical Therapist in the state of Iowa. Previous outpatient orthopedic physical therapy experience is preferred, but new graduates are also welcome. Candidates must possess knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements, the ability to implement components of physical therapy processes, and excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
