Job Summary The Strategic Sourcing Lead will own the development and performance of products and services through awell-definedsourcing strategy, key supplier relationships, costtarget achievement, and supplier growth that align with Millennium’s mission and enterprise goals. This role partners with Global Supply Chain, Engineering, Programs, Quality, Business Development, and senior leadership to drive sustainable cost reductions, compliance,reduced supplyriskandcontinueddelivery performance acrosskey/critical suppliers and the related MSSprograms.This position is fully on site at our office in El Segundo, California. This position’s internal job title is Supplier Program Mgmt. Our team is hiring for level 4. Position Responsibilities Leadership & Strategy Lead strategic supplier development to meet cost, quality, delivery, and agreement targets that support increased rampup and production rates Build andmaintaincrossfunctional relationships with Program Management, Engineering, Quality, Finance, and Operations toidentifyand engage critical suppliers Manage multiple commodity categories (mechanical, electronics, raw materials, etc.) and develop new sources of supply Drive implementation oflong-termagreements (LTAs, BPAs, TA’s, MOU’s) andestablishclear supplier relationship frameworks Support make/buy decisions and riskmitigation strategies to ensure continuity of supply Operational Excellence Oversee key supplier relationships to ensure compliance with program requirements and company policies Forward thinking in sourcingneedsandthe relatedstrategies Solid supplier/product technicaland sourcing knowledge Ensure all agreements meet FAR/DFARS and CPSR standards Develop plans and timelines that define critical supplierrisk,performance, availability, and value propositiontargets Leadsupplier strategy, supplier identification, supplier categorization, and supplierimprovement initiatives Partner with internal stakeholders to guaranteekey/critical supplier relationships and mutually beneficial relationships Support internal, AS9100, and CPSR audit readiness activities Supplier Management & Relationship Building Drive supplier innovation, reduced lead times, and achievement of cost targets Manage supplier escalations and create recovery plans for schedule or quality issues Conduct key supplierevaluations,businessreviewsand lead performanceimprovementinitiatives Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience) Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business Administration,Engineering,or related field (or equivalent experience) 8+years of sourcing experience, including ≥3years in asupplier developmentrole Strong knowledge of FAR/DFARS, supplier agreements, and CPSRcompliant procurement practices This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship.A final U.S. clearance Post Start is required Experience managing multiple commodities and supplier bases in an aerospace or defense environment Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience) Master's degree in business or supply chain management Strong price,termsand delivery negotiationexperience Strong executive presence and ability to present strategyand technical information for alignment and approval at multiple organizational levels Proficiencyin PPT, Excel andMicrosoft Office Suite APICS/ASCM or CPSM certification Demonstrated success implementing strategic sourcing and supplier development programs Excellent negotiation, analytical, and communication skills Strong leadership presence with the ability to influence and engage at all organizational levels Conflict of Interest Successful candidates for this job must satisfy the Company’s Conflict of Interest (COI) assessment process.
