Now hiring for a CDL A Driver Location: Aberdeen, MD Pay Rate: $30.00 $32.00 per hour Schedule: Tuesday Friday | 7:00 AM Start Time (810-hour shifts) Your Class A license opens the door we make it worth walking through. What You'll Do: Safely operate a CDL Class A Day cab with 53' dry van and refrigerated (reefer) trailers to deliver food service, bakery, and restaurant products. Transport and deliver a variety of freight, including sauces, meats, cleaning products, flour, sugar, and other Italian and bakery supplies. Complete 510 delivery stops per day to restaurants, bakeries, stores, and other customer locations. Perform heavy touch freight deliveries, unloading products by hand as well as with pallet jacks, forklifts, dollies, and other material-handling equipment as needed. Move pallets to customer receiving areas, break down pallets, stock products, and place deliveries in designated locations. Frequently lift, carry, push, and pull products weighing up to 6065 lbs., including bags of flour and sugar. Consistently handle physical unloading duties at every stop in a fast-paced delivery environment. Provide excellent customer service and maintain professional communication with customers, dispatch, and warehouse personnel. Verify deliveries, complete required paperwork, obtain customer signatures, and maintain accurate records. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections and ensure compliance with all DOT regulations and company safety procedures. Maintain a clean, organized vehicle and safely secure freight during transport.
