• No. of Beds in Department: 14 ED beds; 5 ICU beds
• EMR System: Electronic T-Sheets
• Office Equipment Available: Standard Emergency Department equipment
• Specialty Backup Available: Cardiology, Pulmonology, Gastroenterology, General Surgery, Orthopedic Surgery, Vascular Surgery
• Support Staff Available: NP/PA coverage 12 hours daily
• Staffing Model: MD/DO coverage 24 hours daily; NP/PA coverage 11a - 9p
• Reason for Coverage: Supplemental Coverage
PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

JOB REQUIREMENTS
• Licenses: Active Michigan Medical License required
• Board: Will accept ABEM, AOBEM, ABFM, or ABIM
• DEA: Required
• Certifications: Board Certification or Eligibility required
• Experience: Emergency Medicine experience required
• Other Qualifications: Minimum of 7 shifts required; immunization waiver considered
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
• Provide Emergency Department coverage in a hospital setting
• Evaluate and treat emergency and acute care patients
• Collaborate with NP/PA providers and multidisciplinary teams
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation within the EMR system
• Participate in orientation and onboarding requirements as assigned
