Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse - PCU/IMC/Stepdown to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care to adult and geriatric patients with complex cardiac and medical conditions.
• Manage a typical nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:4-5, adjusting as necessary for night shifts.
• Titrate medications and manage titratable drips such as Amio, Cardizem, Heparin, and Nitro.
• Read and interpret cardiac monitoring strips independently.
• Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams including charge nurses and patient care techs.
• Utilize Epic for electronic charting and participate in full patient load capacities across different units when needed.

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse license with PCU experience.
• Certifications in ACLS and BLS required.
• Proficiency in Epic charting system preferred.
• Ability to understand and manage complex cardiac patients and procedures.
• Able to work eowe, available for first to float shifts, and adhere to unit nurse-patient ratios.
• Willingness to wear any color scrubs as per facility dress code.
