Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Night Shift | 12-Hour Shifts (7PM–7AM) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a 26-bed Cardiopulmonary Telemetry and Neuro unit with a 1:3–4 nurse-to-patient ratio
• Monitor and interpret EKGs using centralized telemetry systems
• Care for patients with neurological conditions, CVAs, pulmonary diagnoses, and general telemetry needs
• Manage high-flow oxygen delivery including Airvo/High Flow devices as needed
• Collaborate with hospitalists, respiratory therapy (available 24/7), and pharmacy (available 24/7) to coordinate patient care
• Participate in every-other-weekend rotation as part of scheduling requirements

Required Qualifications

• Active RN licensure in good standing
• Minimum 2 years of recent Telemetry experience (within the past 6 months)
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Ability to interpret EKGs; must pass Prophecy Dysrhythmia Exam prior to placement (maximum 2 attempts, no exceptions)
• Must successfully complete a pass/fail Simulation Lab on the first day of orientation

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience caring for neurological and/or pulmonary patient populations
• Familiarity with centralized telemetry monitoring systems
• Prior experience with Airvo or High Flow oxygen delivery devices
