Quality Assurance Consultant III

Our client, a leading organization in the financial services industry, is seeking a Quality Assurance Consultant III to join their team. As a Quality Assurance Consultant III, you will be part of the Quality Assurance department supporting software testing and quality assurance initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent communication, and a collaborative mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.

What's the Job?

• Develop detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test cases based on functional requirements
• Contribute to test planning and build test cases for stories in Agile sprints according to acceptance criteria
• Automate test cases for User-Interface (UI) and database using tools like Selenium or Tosca
• Execute manual and automated test cases, record results, and debug code to identify issues
• Collaborate with development teams for defect triaging and ensure quality standards are maintained throughout the software lifecycle

What's Needed?

• Technical BA/BS degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Math, or related field
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in software testing and quality assurance
• Proficiency in automation testing tools such as Selenium or Tosca for UI and database testing
• Experience with SQL, ETL technologies, and writing complex SQL queries using joins
• Hands-on experience with Unix commands, Autosys scheduling, and test management software like qTest or Octane
