Phlebotomist

Labcorp seeks a Phlebotomist for its Midland, Texas location to perform blood collections, process specimens, and maintain patient records. The role involves working Monday–Friday with occasional weekend hours and requires strong customer service skills in a fast-paced laboratory environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collections for all age groups
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, and alcohol testing
• Enter patient information accurately and maintain specimen and patient logs
• Prepare specimens for testing and process billing and payment collection
• Provide superior customer service and perform administrative duties as assigned

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training from accredited agency
• Ability to pass standardized color blindness test
• Flexibility to work overtime and rotating Saturdays as needed
• Exceptional customer service and strong communication skills
• Ability to work independently or in a team with minimal supervision
