ServiceNow Platform Developer

Key Responsibilities Development, enhancement, and administration across the ServiceNow platform. Support platform security, access controls, compliance requirements, and secure configuration practices. Partner with stakeholders to gather requirements, evaluate options, and recommend technical solutions. Translate business requirements into user stories, technical designs, and platform enhancements. Build, configure, and maintain ServiceNow applications, workflows, integrations, and platform capabilities. Develop and troubleshoot ServiceNow scripts, business rules, client scripts, Flow Designer workflows, and platform configurations. Build and maintain secure integrations using REST APIs, SOAP, Scripted APIs, Data Streams, and Spokes. Ensure solutions align with platform stability, performance, security, and governance standards. Troubleshoot production issues and identify opportunities for platform improvement and automation. Collaborate with platform administrators, developers, and business stakeholders to deliver scalable enterprise solutions. Required Qualifications Experience developing solutions across multiple ServiceNow modules and platform capabilities. Experience building and maintaining ServiceNow integrations and APIs. Experience gathering requirements, solutioning, and recommending technical approaches. Experience with ServiceNow platform security, ACLs, RBAC, and compliance considerations. Experience supporting large, mature ServiceNow environments in the tens of thousands of users, where scale drives integration and security complexity. Ability to clearly explain personal contributions to ServiceNow projects, implementations, and enhancements. Nice-to-Have ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA). Certified Implementation Specialist certification (ITSM, HAM/SAM, ITOM, or similar). Experience with ServiceNow CMDB, Discovery, or Common Service Data Model (CSDM). Experience working in regulated enterprise environments such as financial services, insurance, etc. Must currently live within daily commuting distance of uptown Charlotte.
