The successful candidate will be responsible for partnering with the CEO to translate the company's vision into a clear product roadmap and execution plan. This includes leading product and engineering teams, establishing architecture and standards, and driving the execution of initiatives to ensure consistent delivery. The role also involves aligning cross-functional teams, building and scaling product and engineering organizations, and ensuring the development of secure, reliable systems with a focus on data and workflow principles. Applicants must have a deep understanding of modern software architecture, particularly in data platforms and API-driven systems, and possess strong product instincts with a user-centered mindset. A nuanced understanding of AI systems, their strengths, limitations, and appropriate use cases is essential. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working with founders and executive leadership, able to operate effectively in ambiguity, and demonstrate calm, credible leadership that earns trust across both technical and non-technical teams. The position requires the ability to present progress and strategy to various stakeholders and to evolve the organization into a scalable, repeatable product and engineering function while mentoring and building teams.
