Contract (13 Weeks) | Full-Time | Onsite | Night Shift (6:30 PM – 7:00 AM) | 36 Guaranteed Hours Per Week | Every Other Weekend Rotation

Key Responsibilities

• Manage respiratory care for pediatric and neonatal patients across PICU and Level IV NICU settings, including general med/surg acute care and emergency department as needed
• Perform ventilator management utilizing equipment including Servo I, Servo U, LTV, Astral, Trilogy, and oscillators
• Conduct intubations, extubations, suctioning, and respiratory treatments
• Administer and monitor invasive and non-invasive ventilation modalities including CPAP, BiPAP, RAM cannula, NAVA ventilation, PEP, and INO
• Provide care for tracheostomy patients and support across pediatric cardiac, medical, and surgical ICU units
• Float to general med/surg acute care units and emergency department as census requires

Required Qualifications

• NBRC Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required
• Active Wisconsin RRT license required (candidates without a WI license may apply for Act 10 temporary licensure)
• AHA BLS, AHA PALS, and NRP certifications required
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in pediatric critical care or NICU
• Must be able to function independently in both PICU and Level IV NICU environments
• Associate Degree in Respiratory Therapy (or higher) required
• Influenza vaccine required; no exemptions accepted

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with Epic Clinical Documentation (Clin Doc) preferred
• Familiarity with NAVA ventilation and advanced neonatal/pediatric respiratory modalities
• Prior travel therapy experience in a high-acuity pediatric setting
