The Fuel Center Clerk at Cosentino's Price Chopper in Shawnee, KS, is a vital role responsible for providing exceptional customer service while efficiently managing fuel sales and maintaining a clean and organized environment. This position requires a friendly and outgoing individual with strong cash handling skills, and the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced setting. Responsibilities:- Operate the cash register and point of sale (POS) system accurately, handling cash and credit card transactions.
- Provide friendly and efficient customer service, greeting customers and assisting with inquiries.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the fuel center, including the fuel pumps and surrounding areas.
- Stock merchandise, ensuring proper merchandising and presentation of products.
- Communicate effectively with customers and team members.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
- Working knowledge of cash handling procedures.
- General knowledge of customer service principles.
- Working knowledge of basic mathematics.
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
- Ability to communicate effectively.
- Working knowledge of point of sale (POS) systems.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in a retail or customer service environment.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team.
