Registered Nurse - Telemetry

Job Description

Job Summary:
Provide comprehensive nursing care to inpatients with a focus on telemetry monitoring and patient stability. Assist in managing acuity levels and ensure patient safety through vigilant assessment and intervention.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient conditions regularly and respond to changes promptly.
• Monitor telemetry equipment to track vital signs and cardiac activity.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to formulate and implement care plans.
• Document patient care activities accurately and in a timely manner.
• Assist with patient admissions, transfers, and discharges as needed.
• Support ED patients when required, managing high-acuity cases effectively.

Qualifications:

• Possess a valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Have recent inpatient nursing experience, preferably with telemetry monitoring.
• Demonstrate the ability to assess and respond to clinical changes efficiently.
• Be familiar with telemetry equipment and cardiac monitoring protocols.
• Exhibit strong communication and documentation skills.
