Details Emergency Department unit with 50 beds and approximately 68 staff members Staffed with 7-8 RNs and 2-3 EMTs/Medics per shift Patient ratios estimated at 1:4 or 1:5, though not guaranteed Uses EKG, cardiac monitors, and blood glucose equipment Meditech EMR system Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM 13-week assignment Requirements Active RN license (CO or Compact) currently in hand Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, PALS, TNCC, and ENPC Minimum 1 year of current acute care hospital ED experience required No gaps in work history equaling 90 days or more within the past 12 months US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration Additional Information Responsible for complete ED care needs across all patient populations Level II Trauma experience preferred Stroke experience preferred Ideal candidates are energetic, collaborative, and communicate effectively with staff and providers Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility - no local candidates accepted American Traveler Job ID P-749013.
