Full time or Part time available Allied Health SUMMARY: Responsible and accountable for completing a physical therapy evaluation for each referred patient and for creating and implementing a physical therapy care plan based on the completed evaluation to restore a patient’s function, alleviate pain, and prevent disability. Required to work with the director of Rehab Services, regularly to carryout, initiate and/or implement best practices for the Baxter Health Rehab Services Department. JOB REQUIREMENTS Education: Graduate of and degree holder from a Physical Therapy Education Program accredited by the Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education Preferred experience: 12 to 18 months related experience, excluding clinical affiliations required to complete a degree Certifications: Current Arkansas PT license in good standing required Current CPR certification Preferred Education: Master’s or DPT Degree Primary Source Verification: Original Transcripts and Arkansas State Board of Physical Therapy Safety Sensitive Designation: This position is deemed safety sensitive in accordance with Arkansas Act 593 governing Medical Marijuana. Must be able to stand and walk, and bend, stoop and twist, push, pull and occasionally lift up to 250lbs for up to 8 hours each day. Requires repetitive hand movements. Must have a keen sense of hearing and visual acuity. Must have good manual dexterity. Must be able to operate a computer keyboard and PC mouse to utilize computer software for patient care documentation. Work Environment Patient care setting: Acute care hospital. Occasional outpatient setting, as needed. There is potential risk for exposure to communicable diseases and blood or other body fluids.
