General Dentist Locum Tenens Opportunity in Columbia, SC

We are seeking a Dentist (DMD/DDS) for a locum tenens opportunity in Columbia, SC. This position allows a dentist to practice comprehensive general dentistry with a supportive clinical team and a steady patient workflow. The ideal candidate is comfortable with surgical extractions, denture steps and digital dentures, crown and bridge, comprehensive care, and enjoys working in a collaborative environment.

Dates: Sept 23-24, 28-30, Oct 1, 5-8, 12-15, 19-22, 26-29, Nov 2-5, 9-12, 16-19, 23-25, 30.
Schedule: Mon- Thurs 8a-5p lunch 1p-2p

Pay Range: Starting at $125/hour

Clinical Scope

• Surgical extractions, Denture steps/ Digital dentures, Crown & Bridge, Comprehensive treatment planning
• Extractions could include simple/ surgical/ full mouth.

Full mouth extractions may be required when clinically appropriate. Discuss any clinical limitations with the Proxi team before the assignment.

Support Staff

• 1 MCD/2 Hygienists/4 DAs

Requirements

• Active South Carolina dental license
• Active DEA with all schedules
• CSR if required by the state
• Experience in high volume general dentistry environments preferred
