Paid Training: 4 to 5 weeks over-the-road with an experienced driver mentor at full standard orientation pay. Syllabus: Focuses on real-world defensive driving, trip planning, and DOT compliance. Going Solo: Upgrade to your own assigned truck immediately following trainer sign-off. Either a recent trucking school graduate certificate or 6 months minimum tractor-trailer experience. Must pass the standard DOT physical exam and drug screening.
