Job Title

Registered Nurse – PICU (12-Hour Nights)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract (17 Weeks) | Full-Time | Onsite | Night Shift (19:00–07:00) | Every Other Weekend Rotation

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to a diverse pediatric intensive care population including respiratory, cardiovascular, surgical, trauma, oncology, and medically complex patients
• Manage ventilators, tracheostomies, chest tubes, epidurals, PCAs, and continuous drip management
• Perform Foley insertions, G-tube/J-tube management, feeding tube care, and basic and complex dressing changes using aseptic and sterile techniques
• Support CRRT therapy using Prismax for eligible patients with prior experience and unit-based training
• Float as needed to MedSurg, ED, or NICU in a Helping Hands or Constant Observer capacity
• Document and manage patient care within an electronic medical records system

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 2 years of PICU nursing experience
• Current BLS and PALS certifications
• Proficiency in ventilator and trach management, suctioning, drip management, and aseptic/sterile techniques
• Experience with a broad range of patient types including respiratory, surgical, trauma, cardiovascular, and oncology

Preferred Experience / Skills

• CRRT experience, specifically with Prismax
• Cardiac intensive care unit (CICU) experience, particularly with congenital heart defect patients
• Proficiency with Epic EMR
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
