Speech and Language Pathologist in Tucson, AZ

Make a meaningful impact working as a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist with elementary students for the upcoming academic year. This school-based contract opportunity, located near Tucson, AZ, is ideal for skilled SLPs who are passionate about supporting communication development in young learners. You'll provide direct services in a single building, collaborating with educators and families to ensure student success.


Two dedicated SLPs are needed to fill these roles, starting July 28, 2026 and continuing through May 20, 2027. Each SLP will work with a manageable caseload of 59 elementary-aged students, providing the chance to build strong relationships and consistently deliver high-quality therapy.


Qualifications and Experience Preferred:

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Current or eligible for Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) status
• Previous school-based or pediatric experience is strongly valued
• Proficiency with developing and implementing IEPs, conducting assessments, and collaborating as part of a multidisciplinary team
• State SLP licensure (or eligibility) required prior to start

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct and consultative speech-language services to elementary students
• Conduct and interpret diagnostic evaluations and assessments
• Develop, implement, and update Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
• Maintain accurate student records and progress reports
• Participate in ongoing collaboration with educators, staff, and families
• Engage fully in building-based activities and professional development opportunities
