Warehouse Associate

Warehouse Associate Ist ShiftLocation: Easton, PA Duration: 6 months Ind Shift: 6 AM to 2.30 PM Pay Rate: $20/hrResponsibilities:Able to operate MHE: Forklift, Reach Truck, Pallet Rider, Order picker, pallet jack, etc. Able to use computer and RF equipment. Able to lift up to 50 lbs. Able to understand instructions and communicate well.Qualifications:• High School diploma or equivalent. • One (1) to Two (2) years logistics/distribution experience preferred. • OEM distribution experience preferred. • Experience working in a unionized environment preferred. • Experience operating a Forklift. • Knowledge in supply chain distribution. • Knowledge of the general warehouse industry, best practices, and techniques. • Knowledge of Quality Management Systems. • Experience with labor planning and resource management. • Strong people skills and organizational skills. • Proficiency with Microsoft Office. • Familiar with Warehouse Management System functionality - SAP, BMW WM preferred. • Proficient written and oral communication skills. Comfortable presenting to group settings. • Ability to obtain all Dangerous Goods Certifications. • Language: Fluent English. Ability to speak or understand Spanish or German is a plus, however not required. • Walking or standing occasionally from 5-15% of shift. • Little lifting or carrying up to 25lbs less than 5% of shift.
